Be ready to bring those precious plants
indoors this Fall with my new stoneware &
porcelain planters. Made from my Route 66
Oklahoma Red Clay these planters are
individually thrown on the potters wheel,
painted with a white porcelain slip while
still wet, then carved freehand before
being once-fired to a very high
temperature. The outside is then waxed to
repel moisture while the inside has been
left natural to keep roots happy. I designed
this series to flare out at the top so that
your soil, if ever frozen, can expand
upwards instead of becoming trapped -
hopefully eliminating any broken or
cracked pots.
